Play it Forward Music Camp is a week long mentorship program encouraging the next generation of musicians toward a vocation of music ministry for the church. Our mission is to train and build the character of young musicians both musically and spiritually. Our mentors and educators will engage, encourage and evangelize the students, as well as give them opportunities to share their artistic gifts. There will be instruction in music and liturgy, as well as daily prayer opportunities. Students can choose an elective this year such as songwriting, art, bells ensemble, video, as well a drama track called “Scenes”. There will be fun musical activities such as talent night, cardio drumming, dance and open jam sessions. We will also offer the opportunity for evening private lessons. The whole week will be working toward the Friday evening concert! We will close on Sunday Mass and Commission. These rising 7th graders through outgoing 12th graders will have this moment in time to be inspired and uplifted through the music and liturgy program.
